• Works exactly like Guitar Hero only with a real guitar!
• Works with both acoustic and electric guitars that have pick-ups.
• Has the ability to adjust/set the speed of a song.
• Better DLC Store layout.
• Quicker loading times in riff repeater.
• New "precision tuner" comments at the top of the screen. (Helps you correctly adjust volume.)

The negatives....

• 30 "lives" is not enough and it should just be removed completely.
• Accelerator cuts you off mid-practice if you miss a certain amount of notes.
• The DLC Store lacks the ability to preview songs.
• Cannot "Set Mastery" for a song as a whole in performance mode.
• No indicator, other than crowd response, of whether or not you are hitting the correct notes in Master Mode.

So as you can see, there are both positive and negative comments about Rocksmith Guitar and Bass.  You have to decide for yourself if the positives out-weigh the negatives.
